   Professional methods of finishing are used at Weber's to assure a quality product. We begin by carefully wiping down the stripped piece with a "sizing" solution.
   When the piece is air dried the "sizing" solution causes loose fibers to stand up, allowing the surface to be sanded smooth. This process comes from old world cabinet-makers, who would wipe the finely crafted furniture with water before finish sanding, allowing the finish to adhere better to the wood surface. Stains are then applied which seal and protect the wood's aged look.
   Special time is spent with the customer to assure the look they desire, whether matching another piece, or creating a whole new look.
   After the stain has been applied, the next step is to provide a durable finish, of the customers choosing and hand rubbed to a fine luster. Ready for another generation's use and enjoyment.
